SFP and Max Armstrong from “This Week in AgriBusiness” on RFD-TV  once again have teamed up to visit 12 growers from across the country in their fields to learn more about their operations, nutrient management practices and experiences with SFP products. Each month, a different grower is featured in a segment called Field to Field with SFP; and a new spot is aired every week highlighting portions of each interview.

In November, SFP and Max Armstrong visited with Dean Strauss out of Sheboygan Falls, Wis. Strauss shared that by using More Than Manure® (MTM®) in his dairy manure lagoons he's noticed a reduction in ammonia levels, a reduction in solids and a more uniform product at hauling.

In October, SFP and Max Armstrong visited with Shane Louderback, from Wilmington, Ohio to hear about his experiences with NutriSphere-N® Nitrogen Fertilizer Manager and AVAIL® Phosphorus Fertilizer Enhancer. Louderback shared he's getting an extra alfalfa cutting, faster regrowth and reduced winter kill after adding the products to his fertility mix. He says his soybeans are healthier overall with a better root structure and stems "like tree trunks."

This September, SFP and Max Amrstrong went into the field with Matt Kludt from Kendall, N.Y. to hear what he had to say about NutriSphere-N and AVAIL. Kludt shared he was able to increase his application flexibility by applying NutriSphere-N-treated nitrogen, saw less yellowing of his vegetable crops and discussed the ease of use when tank mixing. Kludt says, "It's just one more thing to help you sleep a litle better at night knowing that your nitrogen is protected out there in the field and your phosphorus is working a little more for you."

In August, SFP went in the field with Max Armstrong to visit Stuart Sanderson from Madison, Ala., to learn more about what he's seen through the use of NutriSphere-N. Sanderson says that with their volatile weather conditions, they needed something to help protect against nitrogen (N) loss. Through side-by-side comparisons - all factors and inputs equal, the fields where NutriSphere-N-treated nitrogen was applied showed better overall plant health and increased yields. Now Sanderson uses NutriSphere-N-treated N on 100 percent of his crop land and for him he says, it's just easy math.

Last July, SFP and Max Armstrong visited with Jason Birdsong in Prospect, Tenn., to find out more about his experience with NutriSphere-N® Nitrogen Fertilizer Manager. He explains how he's eliminated a sidedress application due to the longevity of protection NutriSphere-N provides to his urea.

In June, SFP visited with Ronnie Helms, Ph.D., out of Stuttgart, Ark. In his interview, Helms explains the role of phosphorus in rice production and the importance of keeping it available for the crop to take up. From both an efficiency and financial perspective, he shares how AVAIL can help maximize a grower's phosphorus fertilizer investment.

In May, SFP and Max Armstrong visited with Russell Frisby on his family operation in Caldwell, Idaho. Russell explained that phosphate (P) tie-up was an issue they were looking to overcome due to high levels of calcium in their soil. Now, they apply AVAIL®-treated P to all their fields and have consistently seen healthier corn, onion and potato crops. Russell also utilizes NutriSphere-N to help protect his nitrogen inputs from leaching on irrigated ground.

In April, SFP and Max Armstrong visited John Paul Dineen of Waxahachie, Texas. Dineen explained how NutriSphere-N has increased protien value in his hay and because of its thickness, he had to drop his baler down a gear. By stacking AVAIL and NutriSphere-N, he said he's had the best wheat he's ever seen and MTM® is showing him promising results as well.

Last March, SFP and Max Armstrong went in the field with Stephen Anderson his son Michael, out of Lexington, Neb. Both Stephen and Michael shared the results they've seen by integrating NutriSphere-N into their fertility management program.

In February, SFP and Max Armstrong visited with the Coblentz brothers in Chouteau, Okla. They farm as well as run a dealership supplying fertilizer and chemicals to area growers. They shared their personal experiences with SFP products as well as the responses they’ve received from their customers.

In January, SFP and Max Armstrong went into the field with Matt and Amy Pickens of Lowellville, Ohio, to learn how AVAIL and NutriSphere-N have helped them improve their fertility program.
